Stade Tunisien weigh move for unattached Tunisia defender Ahmed Horchani

Tunisian right-back Ahmed Horchani, currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Stade Tunisien in Ligue 1.

The 24-year-old became unattached on 4 August after leaving ES Sahel, having joined the club from EGS Gafsa in September 2025. His possible move to Stade Tunisien would keep him in Tunisia’s top flight, where he has built his senior club career.

Horchani made 44 Ligue 1 appearances during his time in the competition, playing 3,467 minutes and providing one assist. He also featured 12 times in the Ligue I Pro Playout, completing 893 minutes.

The right-back is listed at 1.78m and has a preferred right foot. His current market value is €200,000, while his highest recorded value was €250,000.

Stade Tunisien finished as the club linked with Horchani on 13 August, with the proposed destination identified as Ligue 1. No transfer fee or contract terms have been reported, and there is no indication that an agreement has been completed.

Horchani’s last recorded club change saw him leave ES Sahel for an unattached status earlier this month. He remains without a club as Stade Tunisien are linked with a move for the Tunisia defender.
