Stade Rennais is reportedly setting its sights on Gabonese forward Denis Bouanga, aiming to bolster their attacking firepower as they continue to reshape the squad under Jorge Sampaoli.
According to Foot Mercato, Rennes, currently sitting 13th in Ligue 1, is eager to lure the 30-year-old back to French football. Bouanga, a standout performer at Los Angeles FC since his arrival in August 2022, has netted an impressive 69 goals in 106 appearances. With a contract running until December 2027, LAFC values the prolific forward at around €10 million.
The former AS Saint-Étienne star is reportedly open to the move, favoring Rennes over other suitors like Tigres UANL in Mexico, whom he recently declined. Meanwhile, interest from a handful of Italian clubs adds another layer of intrigue to his transfer saga.
