Prominent figures from the realms of sports and politics, along with public personalities, convened at the condolence ceremony for Amr Farouk, the former Vice President of Al Ahly Club and the former Minister of Sports, held at the Marshal Tantawi Mosque in the Fifth Settlement.
Amr Farouk, the former Vice President of Al Ahly, passed away last Friday evening after a prolonged battle with illness.
He suffered a stroke and brain hemorrhage while at Al Ahly Club.
Among those present at Amr Farouk’s condolence ceremony were Mahmoud El Khatib, the President of Al Ahly Club, and the members of Al Ahly’s board.
Additionally, a large number of former football stars and icons attended, led by Taher Abu Zeid, a star from Al Ahly and former Minister of Sports, Kamal Darwich, the former President of Zamalek, Hussein Labib, and the entire board of Zamalek Club.
Also in attendance were Mokhtar Mokhtar, Mohsen Saleh, Zakaria Nassef, Hani Ramzi, Sayed Abdel Hafeez, and Ramadan Sobhi.
The ceremony also witnessed the presence of Counselor Omar Marwan, the Minister of Justice, Hassan Hamdi, the former President of Al Ahly, Sherif Seif El Nasr, the President of Al Jazeera Club, Sherif Ekrami, Walid Soliman, Mohamed Shoukry, and Mohamed Mosaileh, the President of Al Ittihad Alexandria Club.
