The coaching staff of Sportive de Sétif received encouraging news ahead of the highly anticipated showdown against Chabab Belouizdad, with the return of two pivotal players to the squad.
Sportive de Sétif (34 points) faces a daunting task as they travel to Chabab Belouizdad (35 points) on Thursday night. It’s a crucial match-up in the 22nd round of the professional league, with both teams vying for victory to temporarily secure the runner-up spot.
Dr. Ismail Zoubiri, the team doctor of Sportive de Sétif, revealed the latest updates from the club’s clinic for the month of March in a video posted on the club’s official page.
Zoubiri highlighted that the team recorded two injuries. The first concerns Mohammed Ziti, who suffered a muscular injury sidelining him from training for 15 days.
However, he has since returned to training in regular form.
The second injury pertains to player Sami Ghediri. Dr. Zoubiri stated, “He suffered a muscular injury in the right leg… he needed a week of rest and treatment, and now he is back with the group and training normally.”
