Spanish tactician Jose Rivero to part ways with South African club Orlando Pirates

Spanish trainer Jose Rivero could part ways with South African giants Orlando Pirates at the end of the season.

Rivero’s current contract with Pirates expires in June, with the Spaniard reluctant to commit to a new deal at the club.

Orlando Pirates are keen about extending Jose Rivero’s contract following an impressive four-year stint with the club. However, the Spaniard gaffer wants to decide on his future at the end of the ongoing season.

According to reports, Jose Rivero wants to return home to spend time with his family after four-year stint in South Africa.

The trainer joined Orlando Pirates in 2021 and has since been the head coach of the club, winning several laurels.

Having won five titles in three years, it appears Jose Rivero would want to return to his family in Spain.

Orlando Pirates are currently second on the South African Premier League standings with 36 points from the 16 games they have played.
