Spanish side Leganes confirms partying ways with Ivorian striker Sebastien Haller

Spanish La Liga side, CD Leganes has announced that it has parted ways with Ivorian striker Sebastien Haller.

The club confirmed the news in an official statement on Thursday, January 9.

In its statement, the Spanish side wished Sebastien Haller the best in the next chapter of his career.

“CD Leganés and Sébastien Haller have parted ways. The 30-year-old Ivorian international striker will not continue at the club after agreeing to end his loan with Borussia Dortmund.

“Haller arrived at Leganés on the last day of the last summer transfer market, having participated in nine official matches with the blue and white shirt, eight in LALIGA EA SPORTS and one in the Copa del Rey, totalling 525 minutes of play.

“The club would like to thank the player for his attitude and professionalism during the time he has defended the CD Leganés shield, while wishing him the best of luck in the future, both personally and professionally,” the club said.

This comes to confirm a report by Africasoccer.com last week.

Our checks indicated that once back at Borussia Dortmund, Sebastien Haller will be transferred to Dutch side FC Utrecht.
