Spain international of Guinea-Bissau descent Ansu Fati delivered an outstanding performance to help AS Monaco secure an important home win over FC Metz in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.

The on-loan Barcelona attacker made substitute appearances as the Principality club cruised to a resounding 5-2 victory over their opponent in the week 5 clash, held at the Stade Louis-II.

Fati was introduced at the beginning of the second half, and made an immediate impact in the match, scoring a brace to propel his side to victory.

The 22-year-old winger swiftly found the net right after his introduction after being set up by Senegalese Lamine Camara in the 46th-minute before completing his double in the 83rd-minute of the match.

Fati found the net on his debut for Monaco in their mid-week Champions League clash against Club Brugge. The winger has now scored on two consecutive occasions for the Principality club, marking a great start to life in France.

Since his debut, Fati has racked up three goals in two appearances for the French Ligue 1 outfit.

Having made an impressive start, the enterprising Spanish-Guinean winger will be hoping to maintain his form throughout the loan period at Monaco.
