Spain forward of Ghanaian descent, Nico Williams, has reportedly agreed to leave Athletic Club in the summer transfer window.
Sources have revealed that the talented forward has agreed to a move to Arsenal in the English Premier League at the end of the ongoing 2024/25 football season.
Nico Williams, 22, was linked with a move away from summer during last summer and the winter transfer windows.
Instead, he signed a contract extension deal with Athletic Club, stressing that he is happy to be in Bilbao.
“This relationship we have at the heart of the club is incredible. Everyone respects everyone else, which is incredible.
“This atmosphere, I’ll never have it anywhere else. I decided to stay because of that. I took the decision I thought was the right one. I’m happy and I’m trying to do my best,” Nico Williams told France Football after signing the new deal.
Months later, the younger brother of Inaki Williams is reportedly ready to move to England.
He is reportedly fancying a move to Arsenal and will consider leaving Athletic Club should the Gunners approach.
