Sofiane Feghouli can now breathe a sigh of relief after the recent incident. The Algerian international, who was apprehended by the police on Monday for driving without a license, found himself in a less dire situation than initially feared. Feghouli explained to the police that he had inadvertently left the document at home but assured them that it was valid.
Initially scheduled to appear before a court in Valencia on Tuesday, Feghouli appears to have avoided this legal step. Consequently, he is no longer at risk of facing the potential 3 to 6 months of imprisonment that typically accompany such cases.
