Southampton ready to cash in on Nigeria midfielder Joe Aribo ahead of winter window
English outfit, Southampton are reportedly prepared to cash in on Nigeria international Joe Aribo ahead of the winter transfer window.
Aribo, who joined the Saints from Rangers in 2022, has struggled to secure consistent playing time this season, with the Nigeria international making only six appearances across competitions for the club.
Having fallen down the pecking at the Championship outfit, Southampton are said to be ready to transfer the midfielder in the January window for a fee.
With his contract set to expire this summer, the club is now willing to cash in rather than risk losing him on a free transfer.
Southampton have reportedly set their asking price at around €1.5 million, a significantly reduced fee compared to the amount they invested when signing him.
According to reports, several Turkish outfits including Göztepe and Trabzonspor are interested in signing the enterprising Nigeria midfielder.
Both Göztepe and Trabzonspor are preparing to make a move once the transfer window opens in January.
