South African side, Black Leopards have parted ways with Ghanaian coach Maxwell Konadu with immediate effect.
This comes after Leopards suffered a disappointing 2-1 loss to Lerumo United on Saturday.
The defeat left Leopards in 10th place in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, with 23 points from the 17 matches, 11 adrift of Durban City FC, who are at the summit of the log.
Konadu, who joined the side in July 2024 from Nsoatreman FC on a three-year deal arrived with high expectations due to his extensive experience and was tasked with taking Leopards back to the Betway Premiership.
He has served as an assistant coach for the Black Stars under several managers, including Otto Addo, Milovan Rajevac, Chris Hughton, Kwesi Appiah, and Avram Grant.
Despite his impressive resume, he struggled to deliver the expected results at Leopards, leading to his dismissal.
Black Leopards have already reached out to Venda Football Academy coach Stan Nkoane to take over the reins from Maxwell Konadu.
Nkoane, who joined VFA last month, could now be in line for a quick switch to the struggling club.
