South African outfit Stellenbosch FC confirm signing of Belgian defender Henri Stanic

Stellenbosch FC have confirmed the acquisition of Belgium defender Henri Stanic in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old joins the Stellies on a permanent deal following an impressive season with Maltese outfit Balzan FC. He marshalled the defense of the club in the recently concluded season, scoring five goals in 28 appearances.

With his wealth of experience, he is expected to contribute significantly towards the success of club in the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign.

Stellenbosch are bolstering their squad for the 2025/26 campaign in an attempt to compete for laurels.

“We are delighted to announce the acquisition of Belgian centre-back Henri Stanic on a permanent transfer” wrote the club on X, formerly known as Twitter while announcing his signing.

Stanic, who started his career in the renowned development structures of Anderlecht, also previously enjoyed spells in Norway and Latvia, but is looking forward to making his mark on the African continent.
