South African outfit Stellenbosch have confirmed the transfer of youngster Faiz Abrahams to Israeli side Hapoel Kfar Saba in the ongoing transfer window.

The 20-year-old winger joins the Israeli second-tier club on a season-long loan, marking his first European adventure following an impressive performance last term.

With no purchase option included in the deal, Fiaz is expected to return to parent club at the expiration of his loan contract.

He becomes the second Stellenbosch player to join an Israeli outfit on loan after Ibraheem Jabaar, who spent the 2023/24 season with Maccabi Petah Tikva.

The move is aimed at providing Abrahams, a recent champion at the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations with South Africa, with valuable football experience and first-team game time abroad.

The 20-year-old joined Stellenbosch at the start of last season and made his senior debut for the club during a league encounter against Kaizer Chiefs in March.

He also played a starring role for Stellies’ reserve team and was named as the club’s DStv Diski Challenge player of the season after scoring 11 goals in the competition throughout the year.
