South African giants have entered the race to sign AmaZulu FC attacker Etiosa Ighodaro in the ongoing transfer window.
The Soweto outfit are keen on strengthening their squad for the new season, and Etiosa Ighodaro, whose contract is due to expire this month has emerged as a top transfer target.
The 23-year-old forward netted six times in 26 appearances across competitions for AmaZulu FC in the recently concluded campaign.
Following an impressive campaign, the forward has attracted significant interest from clubs both domestically and abroad with Orlando Pirates no an exception.
Pirates are targeting the 23-year-old forward to bolster their attacking lineup for the new season.
Despite previously linked with Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates appears to be the leading candidate for the attacker.
Meanwhile, Ighodaro remains on the radar of clubs from Morocco and Russia as they seeks to snap up his signature.
Sekhukhune United, on the other side, are preparing to sign the forward as a replacement for Andy Boyeli, who is wanted by Egyptian side Pyramids.
