South African outfit Kaizer Chiefs have expressed interest to sign DR Congo international Maxi Nzengeli in the ongoing transfer window.
The 25-year-old Nzengeli has caught the attention of Kaizer Chiefs with his versatility, excelling both on either wing and through the center of attack, qualities that could inject new life into the Chiefs’ forward line this coming season.
Nzengeli has been in the ranks of Tanzanian giants Young Apostles since 2023 and has established himself as a key member of the team.
According to reports, negotiations are at an advanced stage, given that Maxi is determined to leave his current club for a new challenge.
While Nzengeli has featured in six matches in the 2024/25 CAF Champions League this season, he has yet to register a goal or assist. Nonetheless, his performances have done enough to grab the attention of the Chiefs.
The enterprising left-winger has made five appearances for the DR Congo national team since marking his debut in August 2022, scoring one goal in the process.
