South African outfit Kaizer Chiefs have severed ties with midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane heading into the new campaign.
The Soweto giants are keen on strengthening their squad for the 2025/26 football campaign following an inconsistent performance in the just ended season.
Despite ending their 10-year trophy drought, Kaizer Chiefs finished out of the top eight in the South African top-flight.
According to reports, the Soweto giants have agreed to terminate the contract of the 30-year-old Mdantsane after just six months spell at the club. He joined Kaizer Chiefs in January 2025, making 16 appearances and providing two assists.
Having departed the club, the midfielder is expected to find himself a new club before the commencement of the 2025/26 football campaign.
Kaizer Chiefs will head to the Netherlands for a two weeks pre-season tour from July 3 to July 19, 2025.
