South African outfit Kaizer Chiefs cut ties with midfielder Tebogo Potsane
South African outfit Kaizer Chiefs have mutually parted ways with midfielder Tebogo Potsane ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign.
The 31-year-old has become a free agent following his exit from the Soweto giants, bringing an end to his two-year ahead of next season.
Potsane joined Kaizer Chiefs in 2023 and contributed his quota as the club ended their 10-year trophy drought last season after clinching the FA Cup title in South Africa.
“As Kaizer Chiefs continue preparations for the upcoming season, the Club and midfielder Tebogo Potsane have amicably parted ways. We thank him for his contribution and wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” the club stated.
Kaizer Chiefs are gearing up for the upcoming campaign. The South African powerhouse recently returned from a preseason training tour in the Netherlands before taking on Asante Kotoko in the Toyota Cup last Saturday.
The Amakhosi has made several acquisitions in the current transfer window as they seeks to make a meaningful impact next season.
