South African midfielder Rowan Human has responded to reports linking him with a move to Premier League outfit Kaizer Chiefs in the ongoing transfer window.
The 24-year-old is currently unattached after ending his spell with fellow South African club, AmaZulu FC.
However, Human, who is pleased to be linked with Kaizer Chiefs says he is not paying attention to such publications.
“I’ve seen it, but I don’t pay too much attention. Of course, it’s nice to be linked to big clubs. Every player dreams of wearing that jersey. But when I was contracted to AmaZulu, I had a job to do. That’s always the focus. I really enjoyed playing against Chiefs last season—home and away, both were tough games,” Human told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs have announced the acquisition of three new players the club revamp their squad for the new campaign.
The players to have joined Kaizer Chiefs include Ethan Chislett, Nkanyiso Shinga and Flávio Silva.
Kaizer Chiefs are bolstering their squad for the 2025/26 campaign in an attempt to compete for laurels. Despite ending their trophyless run, the Soweto giants missed out on the top eight in the South African top-flight, prompting swift squad augmentation for the new campaign.
