South African midfielder Lebohang Maboe vows to give his all for Kaizer Chiefs
South African international Lebohang Maboe has vowed to give his all to Kaizer Chiefs after switching to the club in the summer window.
Maboe joined the Soweto giants as a free agent in the summer after exiting the defunct SuperSport United.
The 31-year-old midfielder arrives with huge expectations and experience and is ready to make a name for himself at Kaizer Chiefs.
“I’m happy that I’m back from injury and I’m planning to work hard to catch up with the rest of the guys who have been active,” said Maboe on FarPost.
“I’m energised and ready to give it my all if given a chance, but will also share my experiences with my teammates to ensure we advance to the group stages.”
Kaizer Chiefs traveled to share spoils with DR Congo outfit AS Simba in the second round of the CAF Confederation preliminary first leg tie.
Maboe will be hoping to help his outfit advance into the group stage of the Confederation Cup campaign.
