South African goalkeeper Darren Keet have mutually parted ways with Cape Town City FC, bringing an end to his four-year spell at the club.
Despite having a one-year contract, both parties have agreed to end their marriage heading into the 2025/26 football campaign.
The 35-year-old shot stopper is expected to find himself a new club before the commencement of the 2025/26 season.
Darren Keet established himself as a key cog to the Cape Town City squad, playing numerous matches for the club in his four-year stint.
Since joining Cape Town City from Cape Umoya United in 2021, Darren Keet made 104 appearances for the South African side and became one of the squad’s most respected members.
Throughout his career, Keet also played for clubs such as Bidvest Wits, Belgian sides Kortrijk and Leuven. The goalkeeper also earned 13 caps for the South African national team.
