South African powerhouse Orlando Pirates are on the verge of losing talisman Monnapule Saleng ahead of the summer transfer window.
In the past three months, Orlando Pirates have been engaging the 27-year-old in an attempt to renew his contract at the club.
Africasoccer.com has learnt that contract renewal talks has stalled due to the player’s salary demands, which Pirates have yet to accept.
Since joining the club in 2021, Saleng has established himself as a key cog to Orlando Pirates.
According to reports, three unnamed clubs are eager to secure the services of the talented South African forward in the summer window.
The 27-year-old attacker has made 13 appearances across competitions this season for Pirates, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
He made his debut for the South African national team in June 2021 and has since made 10 appearances without scoring or registering an assist.
