South African giants Orlando have confirmed the acquisition of seven new players in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The Soweto giants has been busy on the transfer market following a trophyless run in the just concluded football campaign. Without wasting much time, the club has announced the signing of seven players to bolster their squad for the new campaign.
Joining the Pirates are Yanela Mbuthuma (from Richards Bay), Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants), Tshepang Moremi (Amazulu), and Nkosikhona Ndaba (Richards Bay).
Other players, who have joined Pirates include Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United), Tshepho Mashiloane (Baroka), and Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch).
Having acquired their services, they are expected to undergo medical testsbefore the team for preseason training tour in Spain.
“While the next two days will focus primarily on integration and assessment, the real work begins next week when the head coach and his technical staff take charge of officially starting the team’s preseason training,” reads the statement on Orlando’s website.
Pirates will play four friendly matches in the European country before returning to South African for the commencement of the campaign.
