Norwegian side Molde FK have signed talented and young South African defender Samukele Kabini, who is 21 years old. The left-back, joining from TS Galaxy FC in the South African. Premier League, has signed until 2028 with the Norwegian club.
He is a record signing as he becomes the first South African player to play for Molde. Kabini could not conceal his enthusiasm regarding this new challenge.
“I am extremely happy to be in Molde. It has been a thrilling couple of days, and I am eager to get going,” he explained.
The versatile defender, who is renowned for his physical presence and solid defensive capabilities, has played mostly as a left-back and centre-back.
His flexibility to play in various positions makes him an asset to the team. The young defender sees Molde as the ideal environment to grow as a footballer.
“I have heard a lot of good things about the club and observed how Molde works at home and abroad. It seems like a fantastic place to become a player,” he said.
Kabini is an energetic brand of footballer, something which he is incredibly proud of.
“I like to play with passion and use my physicality in the duel game. I have played both on the left-back and at centre-back, and I always give everything out on the field for the team.”
