South African defender Lungelo Bhengu has been linked with a return to Kaizer Chiefs as the club seeks to strengthen their squad.
The 27-year-old right-back departed the club to join fellow South African outfit Maritzburg United back in 2019 and delivered a stellar performance for the team.
According to reports, Kaizer Chiefs have expressed keen interested in the highly-rated defender and could make a move for the talented defender.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs will have to pay more to resign their former players to their ranks again.
The Nasreddine Nabi outfit are said to be willing to meet the asking to secure the services of Lungelo Bhengu.
The enterprising defender has yet to feature for the South Africa national team despite his eye pleasing performance.
