South African defender Khuliso Mudau has reached an agreement to extend his contract with Mamelodi Sundowns.
Talks between the Brazilians and Khuliso Mudau had previously stalled. In a dramatic turn of an event, both parties have reportedly reached an agreement over a new deal.
The 30-year-old experienced right-back is expected to sign a two-year contract extension with the South African giants.
Mudau’s deal includes an option for an additional season, which could see him remain at the club until the summer of 2028.
The defender delivered a standout performance at the just ended FIFA Club World Cup tournament, where Sundowns bowed out at group stage.
Last season, Mudau made 16 appearances in the Betway Premier League, scoring two goals while consistently fulfilling his defensive duties.
Since making his debut for Sundowns in 2022, the 30-year-old defender has racked up 16 appearances and scored just a goal in the process.
