South African outfit Orlando Pirates have set sights on securing the services of Malian midfielder Abdoulaye Mariko in the ongoing transfer window.
The 23-year-old has become a subject of interest for the Soweto giants following an impressive performance in the just ended campaign for Djoliba.
He was instrumental for his outfit, who finished in the second spot at the end of the league campaign while making seven appearances in the CAF champions League.
Despite not scoring in the Champions League, the midfielder showcased glimpses of good performances.
The South African giants intend to snap up the midfielder having already gained valuable experience playing against African football giants including Espérance and Pyramids.
Pirates are expected to submit an official bid for the services of the highly-rated midfielder this summer.
