Following Tsepo Masilela’s withdrawal, Siyabonga Sangweni will also miss Bafana Bafana’s upcoming match against Central Africa in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers. Sangweni aggravated an ankle injury and has withdrawn from the squad. Erick Mathoho has been called up as a replacement. Mathoho, in excellent form with Kaizer Chiefs, is expected to contribute to the defense against Central Africa. Coach Gordon Igesund is relying on him to thwart the opponents’ attacks in the upcoming game.
