South Africa left-back Ofentse Kgosana returns to Casric Stars for second loan spell
South Africa left-back Ofentse Kgosana has joined Casric Stars from Kaizer Chiefs II on loan, returning to the club for the 2026-27 season.
The move was completed on 18 August 2026 and gives Kgosana another spell with Casric Stars after he previously spent part of the 2025-26 campaign at the club. His latest loan runs until 30 June 2027, when he is scheduled to return to Kaizer Chiefs II.
Kgosana, who plays on the left side of defence, first moved from Kaizer Chiefs II to Casric Stars on loan on 13 February 2026. He remained with the club until the end of June, before returning to Kaizer Chiefs II at the conclusion of that agreement.
The 2026-27 switch brings the defender back to Casric Stars permanently for the length of the new temporary deal. He will remain registered with Kaizer Chiefs II beyond the end of the loan, with the agreed return date set for 30 June 2027.
During his previous spell, Kgosana made one appearance in the Nedbank Cup and scored once. He played nine minutes in the competition, providing a brief but decisive contribution during his time with Casric Stars.
The defender now returns to a club he represented earlier in the year, while Kaizer Chiefs II retain his registration. No transfer fee has been attached to the loan move.
Kgosana’s next season will therefore begin with Casric Stars, where he will again provide a left-footed option at left-back. His return was completed on 18 August, formalising his second loan move between the two South African clubs.
The South African defender has joined Casric Stars on loan from Kaizer Chiefs II until 30 June 2027.
