Senegal’s local national team is gearing up for the second round of qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) with a fresh training camp at the Jules François Bocandé Technical Development Center in Toubab Dialaw. The camp, scheduled to run from December 2 to 5, 2024, will see 25 players called up to refine their skills ahead of key fixtures against Liberia later this month.
This latest training session follows the completion of the previous camp on November 28, marking a continuation of the team’s build-up for the crucial matches.
Among the notable call-ups, right-back Cheikh Sarr of Teungueth FC and central defender Serigne Fallou Diouf, who has recently returned from Italy, are back in the fold.
Additionally, coach Souleymane Diallo has included Génération Foot’s Alassane Sy to strengthen the midfield options.
The absence of Jaraaf players, who are occupied with CAF Cup commitments, continues to be felt, but the squad remains largely intact and focused on the upcoming challenges.
The team’s primary objective is to prepare thoroughly for the decisive double-header against Liberia, set for December 22 and 29, 2024.
The full squad includes:
Goalkeepers (3): Pape Abdoulaye Dieng (Linguère), Marc Philippe Diouf (Teungueth FC), Amar Fall (AS Pikine).

Midfielders (5): Alassane Sy (Génération Foot), Issa Kane (Casa Sports), Cheikh Tidiane Thiam (Oslo FA), Matar Niang (Teungueth FC), Seydou Ndiaye (Dakar Sacré-Cœur).
