Souleymane Bamba Seeks New Club After World Cup Disappointment
Ivory Coast defender Souleymane Bamba remains without a club following a quiet World Cup campaign. The experienced central defender is set to leave Trabzonspor in Turkey after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract.
Bamba joined Trabzonspor in 2012 from Leicester City but is now looking for new opportunities as he prepares to move on from the Turkish league. Trained at Paris Saint-Germain, the 30-year-old has yet to receive any official offers despite his international experience.
The Ivorian international made his debut for the Elephants on November 19, 2008, in a friendly against Israel and was part of the squad at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. With the upcoming transfer window open, Bamba will be hoping to secure a deal that reignites his club career.
