Sofyan Amrabat’s late goal on Sunday helped Fenerbahçe secure a commanding 4-0 win over Sivasspor on matchday 12 of the Turkish Süper Lig.

The victory began to take shape early, with Fenerbahçe establishing control when Turkish defender Samet Akaydin scored the opening goal in the 24th minute.

His strike set the tone, energizing the home crowd as Fenerbahçe pushed forward with relentless intent.

The lead was then extended in the second half as Serbian forward Dušan Tadić found the net in the 54th minute, putting Fenerbahçe comfortably ahead at 2-0.

Tadić’s goal showcased his composure and skill, further underlining the team’s dominance on the field.

The decisive third goal came in the 82nd minute, courtesy of Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat.

His clinical finish effectively ended any hopes of a Sivasspor comeback and was greeted with loud applause from the home fans, who recognized the midfielder’s contribution to Fenerbahçe’s strong league performance this season.

The match concluded in dramatic style with a fourth goal from Allan Saint-Maximin, who scored in added time at 90+4.

The French forward’s powerful strike capped off an impressive team performance, ensuring Fenerbahçe left the pitch with a statement win and four goals to their name.

With this victory, Fenerbahçe maintains its second-place position in the league standings, holding 26 points.

The team continues to trail the league leaders but remains firmly in the race for the title, demonstrating consistent form through their disciplined defense and attacking prowess.

Sivasspor, meanwhile, falls to seventh in the standings with 17 points.

The loss highlights the challenges Sivasspor faces against the league’s top teams, as they struggle to keep pace with Fenerbahçe and other leading clubs in the Süper Lig.

The match was a testament to Fenerbahçe’s depth and balance, as goals came from multiple players across the lineup.

For Amrabat, who joined the club to add strength and experience to the midfield, his performance was a reminder of his value to the squad as they aim for a top finish this season.
