Called up for the upcoming match against Slovenia on March 5 as part of FIFA Day, Sofiane Feghouli is poised to be a key asset for the Algerian national team during the 2014 World Cup.
In a recent appearance on a Qatari channel “Al Kass,” the Valencia striker responded to Zinedine Zidane’s commendatory remarks about him. “Receiving praise from Zidane, whom I consider an exemplar and role model, is incredibly flattering. I am thrilled and this motivates me to work even harder to further my progress,” Feghouli stated.
Zinedine Zidane, the assistant coach at Real Madrid, shared his admiration for Sofiane Feghouli (24), the Algerian international playing for FC Valencia, during an interview with colleagues from the LeButeur site. “I am fond of the Valencia player, Feghouli, although I believe there is still room for improvement. He’s a player who enhances the performance of his teammates, and I appreciate that quality. While he has yet to reach his full potential, I genuinely admire his contributions. He has been making significant strides here in Spain, and I’ve observed him making crucial plays on numerous occasions,” Zidane revealed.
