In a recorded statement, Boufal expressed, “Everything is going well; I have recovered well from the injury, and now I am 100% ready.”

The Qatari club Al Rayyan player added, “We are prepared to face the challenges that await us.”

He concluded, “We hope to deliver commendable performances in the Africa Cup of Nations, which promises to be a tough competition.”

The Moroccan national team finds itself placed in Group 6 alongside Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Zambia.

Ivory Coast is set to host the upcoming edition of the tournament scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
