Sloan Privat has officially left Sochaux to join La Gantoise in Belgium. The 24-year-old Guyanese striker signed a four-season contract with the Belgian First Division club. Sochaux is expected to receive approximately one million euros from the transfer of the former Clermont player.
Having started in Ligue 1 with Sochaux in 2007, Sloan Privat spent most of his career with the club, except for a one-season loan to Clermont Foot in 2010-2011. He scored nine goals for Sochaux in the previous season.
