Sivasspor complete loan deal for Ghana winger Clinton Duodu

Ghana winger Clinton Duodu has joined Sivasspor from Apollon Limassol on loan, completing a move that takes the 21-year-old to the Turkish club until 30 June 2027.

Duodu, who plays on the right wing, joined Sivasspor on 27 August 2026 after starting the season with Apollon in the Cyprus League. His arrival adds a Ghanaian attacker to a Sivasspor squad competing in Turkey’s 1. Lig.

The right-footed winger made three appearances in the UEFA Conference League qualifying rounds for Apollon this season, playing a total of 32 minutes. He did not score or provide an assist in those outings.

Born in Bechem, Ghana, Duodu began his senior club career with Bechem United before moving to Apollon Limassol on 6 September 2024. He spent two seasons with the Cypriot side before switching clubs on a temporary basis.

Duodu is listed at 1.80m and has represented Ghana at club level through his move to Sivasspor. His contract with the Turkish club runs until the end of the loan period, with the transfer record stating that he will return to Apollon when the agreement expires.

The move marks the latest stage of Duodu’s career after his progression from Bechem United to European football. He now continues that path with Sivasspor, having completed his loan transfer from Apollon Limassol.
