Siracusa sign Senegalese-Italian winger Ndiaye Mbaba from S.Maria Cilento
Senegalese-Italian winger Ndiaye Mbaba has joined Siracusa from S.Maria Cilento on a free transfer, strengthening the Italian club’s attacking options ahead of the new season.
The 25-year-old completed the move on 11 August 2026 and will play for Siracusa in Serie D – I. Mbaba’s arrival follows his spell with S.Maria Cilento, who were his previous club before the switch.
Born in Dakar on 20 December 2000, Mbaba holds Senegalese and Italian nationality. He operates primarily on the right wing and is left-footed, giving Siracusa a wide attacking player who can play from the right side while favouring his stronger foot.
Mbaba is listed at 1.85m and joins Siracusa at the age of 25. His profile places him in the club’s attacking group, with his main position identified as right winger rather than as a central forward or midfielder.
The transfer gives Siracusa an experienced senior addition for their campaign in Italy’s Serie D – I. Mbaba’s move also marks a change of club within the Italian game, as he leaves S.Maria Cilento to continue his career with Siracusa.
No transfer fee is involved in the switch, with Mbaba arriving as a free transfer. His new agreement with Siracusa runs until 30 June 2027, providing the club with his services for the current campaign and the following season.
Mbaba’s move was completed on 11 August, and he is now registered as a Siracusa player.
