Tanzanian club Simba SC have announced the signing of defensive midfielder Alassane Maodo Kante.
The new midfielder is just one of several additions secured by the Tanzanian Premier League giants to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
“Defensive midfielder, Alassane Maodo Kante has joined our squad from CA Bizertin of Tunisia on a two-year contract with an option to extend for one year,” Simba SC announced in an official statement on Wednesday.
Kante (25), a Senegalese national, is a midfielder with great tackling and attacking abilities, with his greatest attribute being passing accurately to the target, whether far or near.
The midfielder last season managed to score four goals and provide eight assists, establishing himself as a key player for CA Bizertin.
He is one of the players that the Simba SC’s management and technical staff have high hopes for in both domestic and international competitions.
With Kante and the other signings, Simba SC will hope to win a few trophies in the upcoming football season.
