Nigeria goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is emerging as a transfer target for African heavyweights Simba SC and Raja Casablanca following his departure from South African side Chippa United.
The Super Eagles shot-stopper became a free agent last week after his contract with the Chilli Boys was mutually terminated at his request, bringing an end to a four-year spell with the club.
At 29, Nwabali is widely regarded as one of the continent’s top goalkeepers, a reputation reinforced by his impressive performances for Nigeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
With his experience and recent form, the former Chippa United man is expected to attract further interest as he weighs up his next move.
