Tanzanian giants Simba SC have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Morice Abraham.
The club announced the arrival of the youngster in an official statement on Thursday, July 31.
In the statement, Simba SC noted that Morice Abraham has signed a two-year contract ahead of the new football season.
“Attacking midfielder, Morice Abraham has joined our squad from Spartak Subotica of Serbia on a two-year contract.
“After returning to the country from Serbia, Morice (21) trained with the team where coach Fadlu Davids and his assistants approved him and the management signed him directly.
“Morice, who grew up at the Alliance Academy talent development center in Mwanza, is remembered for captaining the Tanzanian under-17 youth team ‘Serengeti Boys’ which participated in the 2019 AFCON which Tanzania hosted.
“His commitment and dedication on the field are among the qualities that attracted the coaching staff, as he appears to have a passion for success and is ready to help the team at any time,” Simba SC announced in their statement.
Morice Abraham, during the 2024/25 football season in Serbia, scored two goals and provided four assists for Spartak Subotica.
He is set to link up with the Simba SC squad in Egypt, where they are having pre-season, once his travel permits are completed.
