Pantev joins Simba SC after a successful stint with Gaborone United of Botswana, a side that faced the Tanzanian giants in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League last week.
His African coaching experience also includes a title-winning spell in Cameroon with Victoria United in the 2023/2024 season, followed by further success in Botswana with Gaborone United in 2024/2025.
Known for his philosophy of blending attacking and defensive football with an emphasis on ball possession, Pantev’s style aligns closely with Simba’s vision of dominance both locally and continentally.
The Tanzanian giants are hoping the new head coach will enjoy success with the team.
