Silvano Nater: Asteras Amaliada sign Portugal and Guinea-Bissau winger on free transfer

Portugal and Guinea-Bissau winger Silvano Nater has joined Greek club Asteras Amaliada from SC Bruhl SG on a free transfer.

The 26-year-old left winger has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027, beginning a new chapter in Greece after a short spell in Switzerland. Nater joined SC Bruhl SG in February 2026 after a period without a club, and leaves the Promotion League side after five months.

Nater was born in Bissau and holds Portuguese and Guinea-Bissau nationality. He is listed as a left winger and favours his right foot.

The move to Asteras Amaliada is the latest in a series of transfers across several European leagues for Nater. Before joining SC Bruhl SG, he had been with Pribram in the Czech Republic, having moved there from 1.SC Znojmo in February 2025. His earlier clubs include CDF Tres Cantos and UD San Sebastian de los Reyes B in Spain, as well as Union Adarve and Trikala.

He began his youth career with Atletico Madrid, joining the club’s under-17 side in 2017 before progressing to the under-19 team two years later. Nater subsequently left Spain and continued his senior career in Greece, where he joined Trikala in October 2020.

His recorded playing record includes appearances in the Czech MSFL, Greece’s Super League 2, Switzerland’s Promotion League and the Canadian Football League. He scored twice and supplied one assist in 14 MSFL appearances, while also registering an assist in 13 Super League 2 matches. In the Promotion League, he made 11 appearances and contributed one assist.

Nater also has experience in lower divisions in Spain and Greece, and made appearances in the Copa del Rey and UEFA Youth League during his career. His highest recorded market value was €100,000.

Asteras Amaliada have now secured the services of the experienced wide player without paying a transfer fee, with Nater’s agreement in place until the end of June 2027.
