Sidama Bunna eye experienced midfielder Khalid Aucho for Ethiopian Premier League move
Ugandan-Kenyan midfielder Khalid Aucho, currently with Tanzania’s Singida SC, has been linked with a move to Ethiopian Premier League club Sidama Bunna.
Aucho, 33, plays as a defensive midfielder and joined Singida in August 2025 after leaving Tanzanian rivals Young Africans on a free transfer. He remains with Singida, who are listed as his current club while the reported interest from Sidama Bunna develops.
The midfielder has a recorded total of 32 Premier League appearances and two goals, along with 21 CAF Champions League appearances and two assists. His career record also includes 19 appearances in the CAF Confederation Cup and spells in India, Serbia and South Africa.
Aucho began his senior club career with Simba before moving to Tusker in 2013 and later joining Gor Mahia. He subsequently played for Baroka FC, Red Star and OFK Beograd, as well as East Bengal and Chittagong Abahani, before establishing himself in Tanzanian football.
The reported approach would represent another international move for a player whose career has included clubs across East Africa, Asia and Europe. Sidama Bunna are based in Ethiopia’s top flight, while Aucho’s current market value is listed at €100,000.
No transfer has been confirmed, and Aucho remains a Singida SC player.
