Shehab Shafik: Egyptian forward joins Amer Village YC on free transfer

Egyptian centre-forward Shehab Shafik has joined Amer Village YC from Port Fouad SC on a free transfer, completing the move on 2 August 2026.

The right-footed attacker has signed a contract with Amer Village YC running until 30 June 2028. He becomes part of the club’s attacking options after leaving Port Fouad SC, where he had been playing before the switch.

Shafik made two appearances in the Egypt Cup during his time at Port Fouad SC, playing a combined 71 minutes. He operates primarily through the centre of the attack and is naturally right-footed.

The move continues Shafik’s progression through Egyptian football. He joined Port Fouad SC from Sporting on 25 January 2025, before spending the following period with the club and now moving on to Amer Village YC.

His transfer was completed without a fee, with the agreement taking effect at the start of the 2026-27 season. Shafik is now under contract at Amer Village YC through June 2028.
