Shain Chetioui: Franco-Algerian forward joins Caucriauville on free transfer
Franco-Algerian centre-forward Shain Chetioui has joined Caucriauville on a free transfer from FC Rouen B.
The 19-year-old, born in Le Havre and eligible for both Algeria and France, moves across Normandy after half a year with Rouens reserve side, where he arrived at the start of 2026. The deal sees him return to familiar surroundings, with Caucriauville based in the same city where he came through the youth ranks.
Chetioui, a right-footed attacker who operates through the middle, began his development at Le Havre, progressing from the U17s to the U19s before leaving the academy in 2024. He then joined Dunkerque B on a free transfer, spending the 2024-25 campaign with the northern clubs second team.
A brief spell without a club followed in 2025 before Rouen moved to bring him in at the turn of the year. After six months there, he now makes the switch to Caucriauville ahead of the 2026-27 season.
At youth level, Chetioui featured in Frances National U19 Group A and the Coupe Gambardella, collecting minutes in both league and cup competitions as he stepped up from academy football into senior environments. Those appearances provided his first competitive experience beyond Le Havres youth structure.
Chetiouis arrival adds another locally trained forward to Caucriauvilles attacking options, with the transfer confirmed as a permanent free move completed on 12 July 2026.
