Shabab Al-Sahel bolster attack with Nigeria striker Edidiong Ezekiel Enobong

Nigeria centre-forward Edidiong Ezekiel Enobong has joined Lebanese Premier League club Shabab Al-Sahel from Nigerian top-flight side Enyimba Aba.

The 24-year-old completed the move on 20 September 2026 after one season with Enyimba, having joined the club from Akwa United in August 2025. Enobong made his senior career in Nigeria’s domestic game and now begins a new chapter in Lebanon with Shabab Al-Sahel.

Enobong has recorded 113 appearances, 15 goals and eight assists in the Nigeria Professional Football League. He has also featured in the NPFL Playoffs and the CAF Confederation Cup during his career.

The right-footed striker previously represented Akwa United, joining them from Remo Stars in August 2023. His time at Remo Stars followed a spell with Ibom Youth FC, where he arrived after being on loan at Dakkada FC.

Enobong spent part of the 2021-22 campaign with Dakkada FC before returning to Ibom Youth FC. He then moved to Remo Stars in August 2022, before transferring to Akwa United a year later.

Standing 1.75 metres tall, Enobong offers Shabab Al-Sahel an attacking option with experience of Nigerian league football and African club competition. His arrival also represents a move away from the NPFL to the Lebanese Premier League, broadening his club career beyond Nigeria.

Shabab Al-Sahel have now completed Enobong’s move, with the Nigerian striker joining the Lebanese club from Enyimba Aba.
