Shabab Al Ahli Dubai complete signing of Zamalek winger Juan Bezerra

Shabab Al Ahli Dubai have officially completed the signing of Brazilian winger Juan Bezerra from Zamalek after the player passed his medical.

The UAE club announced the deal in a video posted on its social media channels, accompanied by the message: “They were looking for the announcement date… Dubai is the destination.”

Bezerra appeared in the club’s shirt and said: “I am a Shabab Al Ahli player.”

The Brazilian will wear number 55 at Shabab Al Ahli Dubai.

Zamalek had announced shortly beforehand that Bezerra would join Shabab Al Ahli Dubai after the Egyptian club’s demands were met. Zamalek had insisted that the player return to Cairo before discussions over his future could take place.

A source at Zamalek had previously told FilGoal.com that Shabab Al Ahli Dubai had increased its offer to sign Bezerra.

Bezerra played 44 matches in all competitions last season, scoring eight goals and providing 12 assists.

He won the Egyptian Premier League with Zamalek last season, but lost the Confederation Cup final with the club on penalties.
