After weeks of speculation, Seydou Keita has made his return to Europe. The captain of the Mali national team has signed a six-month contract with FC Valencia in the Spanish Liga, putting his adventure with Dalian Aerbin in China on hold.
Keita is no stranger to the Spanish league, having previously played for FC Barcelona before moving to China two years ago. Prior to his time at Barcelona, he also had stints at Sevilla FC after leaving France and FC Lens. There were also rumors linking him to a return to FC Lens.
Although his contract in China is still valid until December 2014, Keita has opted to make the move back to Europe.
