Sevilla FC has been dealt a blow after Albert Sambi Lokonga and Akor Adams sustained injuries during Thursday’s training session.
Both players suffered right thigh issues, raising concerns within the club, though neither case appears to be serious at this stage.
Lokonga, who is on loan from Arsenal, has become an integral part of García Pimienta’s system.
The 25-year-old Belgian midfielder has made 15 appearances this season, providing two assists.

He has been diagnosed with a myotendinous hamstring injury, which could sideline him for several days or even weeks, depending on his recovery progress.
Adams, a recent arrival in the winter transfer window, has also suffered a setback before fully integrating into the squad.
The Nigerian forward sustained a myotendinous lesion in his rectus femoris, a frustrating blow as he aimed to make an immediate impact.
Sevilla’s medical staff is closely monitoring both players and will determine the necessary course of treatment.
Their potential absences could complicate Pimienta’s plans, particularly with a crucial clash against FC Barcelona approaching.
