Serhou Guirassy leaves Borussia Dortmund training early
Serhou Guirassy’s first day back in Borussia Dortmund training brought a brief scare, but the club does not believe there is any serious problem.
The striker stopped the session after a little more than an hour, received treatment on the back of his thigh, and then headed into the dressing room.
Dortmund later clarified that the early exit was part of a planned workload management plan rather than a fresh injury setback. That should ease concerns around a player who was central to the team’s attack last season and is expected to remain important under Niko Kovac.
According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund is committed to maintaining Serhou Guirassy in their squad amid recurring transfer rumors. Dortmund officials publicly emphasize that they are firmly planning with the Guinean forward. Fans also expect Guirassy to stay and help the club achieve success in the new season.
The club is moving through its summer preparation with several friendlies ahead, followed by an Asian tour later in July, where Guirassy is expected to feature if everything stays on track.
