Serge Gnabry has signed a contract extension with Arsenal, extending his stay at the club. The young German international, of Ivorian origin, was initially linked to Arsenal until 2015 but has now committed to a new long-term contract. Gnabry has made two starts in the Premier League this season and was part of Arsène Wenger’s lineup in the Champions League match against Dortmund.
Born in Stuttgart to a German mother and an Ivorian father, Serge Gnabry joined the Arsenal FC training center in 2011 after moving from VfB Stuttgart. He initially trained with the under-18 team and showcased his talent, earning a place in the Gunners’ reserve squad, where he scored two goals in six games.
